Professional Pump Servicing
Manufacturers recommend that sump pumps are serviced regularly to promote their maximum efficacy and longevity. The industry standard is at least every 12 months, but more frequent servicing may be required in installations that are in heavy use or that are susceptible to mud and silt ingress.
⚠ Important: Your basement waterproofing guarantee and/or home insurance may be invalidated if your basement sump pump is not maintained as recommended.
What's Included in a Pure Sump Pump Service
- Convenient 'one hour window' appointment
- Removing all pumps and cleaning them
- Cleaning (flushing) the sump chamber of any residue / silt ingress
- Cleaning pump impellers
- Inspecting and changing one-way valves as required
- Testing resistance on pump circuits
- Checking on/off actuation point for pumps and adjusting as required
- A general check over to make sure everything is operating correctly
- A detailed service certificate for your records
